Commercial Credits

Here is an incomplete list of TV advertisements John Tierney has appeared in...

Diet Pepsi

John's very first commercial, which was a national-wide campaign.

John played the Dad character.

Energizer Bunny

For the North American Hispanic market.

John's character was an archaeologist in an Egyptian tomb.

Inside the sarcophagus is a device still operating after all these years.

Enter Energizer Bunny.

Ford Mustang

35th Anniversary Ford Mustang commercial.

John played the dour, older neighbour in contrast to the next-door hipster who has a new Mustang.

Turns out that John's character has an original Mustang.

They have more in common than we initially thought.

This advertisement was broadcast nationally in the US, on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Late Night with David Letterman, and during the SuperBowl.

1999 was the 35th anniversary of the Ford Mustang.

Hongkong Bank of Canada

HongKong Bank of Canada is now known as HSBC.

John was among a group of suit-wearing, briefcase carrying bankers, running along the beach in pursuit of the HSBC banker, who is leading the race, demonstrating the bank's prowess.

Sony PlayStation

A ton of fun to film, and everybody looked forward to seeing it, until a few days after wrap when two planes crashed into the World Trade Center.

This commercial was never aired because it involved PlayStations being dropped from airplanes, and that was a touchy subject after September 2001.
